Our whakapapa, our pūrākau and our mātauranga Māori is vital to how we see the world, but when it is digitised people treat it differently to how whānau, hapū and Iwi might look at this. This will be a 8 session course going over the basics of Māori Data Sovereignty, as well as utilising a framework the Mana Mātauranga-a-hapū Strategy that Rangitāne o Wairarapa uses. These will help us learn how we might look at data within a Te Ao Māori context and change how we see data going forward.
